Energy Savings
Variable Speed Pumps
Save up to $40–$80/month on your electric bill
- Single-speed pumps run at 100% all the time — wasteful & loud
- Variable speed adjusts RPM to match demand, slashing energy use by up to 90%
- Qualifies for utility rebates — pays for itself in as little as 18 months
- Ask us about an upgrade — financing available
🧂
Water Quality
Salt Chlorinator Systems
Silky water, fewer chemicals to handle
- Converts pool-grade salt into chlorine automatically — no hauling tabs or shock weekly
- Water feels softer and is gentler on eyes, skin & swimsuits
- Salt levels are low (~3,200 ppm) — far below ocean water (~35,000 ppm)
- Still requires monitoring of pH, alkalinity & calcium — chemistry doesn't stop!
🌀
Filtration
Sand vs Cartridge vs D.E.
Filtration size determines water clarity
- Sand: filters particles ≥ 20–40 microns — easiest to maintain, backwash monthly
- Cartridge: filters ≥ 10–15 microns — better clarity, rinse every 3–6 months
- D.E. (Diatomaceous Earth): filters ≥ 2–5 microns — crystal clear water, highest maintenance
- Upgrading filtration is one of the best investments for water clarity
📱
Smart Technology
Pool Automation Systems
Control your entire pool from your smartphone
- Turn pump, heater, spa, lights and water features on/off from anywhere
- Set schedules — have the spa hot by the time you get home
- Popular systems: Hayward OmniLogic, Pentair IntelliConnect, Jandy iAquaLink
- Compatible with most existing equipment — retrofit available

Water Chemistry
Why pH Balance Matters
The #1 factor in water quality and equipment longevity
- Ideal pH: 7.2–7.6 — outside this range, chlorine loses up to 90% effectiveness
- Low pH (<7.2): corrosive — eats plaster, gaskets, heater coils & irritates eyes
- High pH (>7.8): scale formation, cloudy water, chlorine becomes ineffective
- Alkalinity (80–120 ppm) is your pH buffer — balance it first, pH follows
🌿
Algae Prevention
Phosphates: The Hidden Culprit
Phosphates are algae food — keep them low
- Phosphates enter from fertilizer runoff, leaves, rain, and some chemicals
- Keep below 200 ppb — above 500 ppb, algae blooms become very hard to control
- Even with perfect chlorine levels, high phosphates cause recurring green water
- Phosphate remover treatment quickly drops levels — ask us at your next visit
🎱
Pool Care
Pool Cover Benefits
One of the best ROI upgrades for any pool owner
- Reduces water evaporation by up to 95% — save thousands of gallons per year
- Reduces chemical consumption by 35–60% — less algae, less UV breakdown of chlorine
- Keeps debris out — fewer hours of pump run time needed
- Safety covers can hold 4,000+ lbs — peace of mind for families with kids or pets
🔧
Preventive Care
Regular Maintenance Saves Money
The math is simple — prevention costs far less than repair
- Green pool recovery: $325–$600+ vs. weekly service that prevents it
- Sand filter lateral replacement: $300–$500 — avoided by catching high PSI early
- Plaster damage from chemistry neglect: $4,000–$12,000 to replaster
- Your weekly service report is your pool's medical record — we track it all for you
